"Oslo has been roasting beans and serving espresso and coffee in Brooklyn for some time now, and they now boast several locations, including one in Manhattan. Oslo's flagship on nearby Roebling has been brewing for more than 15 years, but this cute little brother on Williamsburg's south side – re-opened after a terrible fire in 2012 – is a community mainstay and a no-frills spot for bean lovers. With limited seating at a narrow counter, a couple of benches out front, and one communal Roman bistro table where you can stand and chat while you enjoy your drink, much of their business is carryout, but there is always a cool crowd hanging out here. They stock a small selection of pastries and cookies, but folks come here for the coffee, and with good reason!"
