An assembly line of sandwich-builders works in sync to stuff cheese, meat, greens, and more into fresh Italian bread before drizzling olive oil and balsamic on top. Though it’s often the fresh mozzarella or prosciutto that gets the spotlight, regulars know to watch out for the tuna sandwich, which is only available on certain days, until sellout. The sandwich comes with tuna salad, Emmental cheese, tomato, mixed greens, extra virgin olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. A full sandwich rings in at less than $15, which makes it easy to pick up a bag of chips to pair."

"When you first walk into Larchmont Wine and Cheese, you’ll wonder why you’re standing in the middle of a fancy wine shop. Don’t worry - you’re here for the tiny sandwich counter in the back. There, you’ll find simple, fantastic sandwiches that will completely change what you fantasize about during your lunch hour. Our favorite is the #5 (Italian prosciutto, arugula, mozzarella, and olive oil), but the homemade tuna salad shouldn’t be missed either. Just make sure you show up early - once they sell out for the day, they’re done."
