"The Miss Portland Diner on Marginal Way in Portland, Maine has been in business since 1949. It is a gorgeous example of an unaltered Worcester Lunch Car Company diner car (WLCC car number 818). Even though it has been moved a few times to different locations in Portland, it still looks like it did back in 1949 after being lovingly restored by owners Tom and Stefanie Manning, who worked with the local historic preservation department to ensure "what was old can be new again." It even made an appearance in Mel Gibson's movie "Man Without a Face." We absolutely fell in love with it and can't wait to return to visit it again."

"Holy moly, so goood!! Ate here with a friend at 9:30 on Labor Day weekend (Friday) with no wait. We got to sit in the box car, in a booth, best seat in the house. Our waitress was a tiny bit uninterested in being a waitress, but the food was GREAT. I had 3-egg spinach, mushroom, Swiss omelette and a single blueberry pancake with maple syrup and it was outta this world, good!! Keri had a breakfast burrito and kept saying, “this is so good” as she was chewing. Definitely going back!!"
