"Absolutely in LOVE with this restaurant. The area around the bar has a great sitting area with tables so you can have a drink while you wait for your table or or have quick bites. These sitting areas do not require reservations. The service was attentive and our waiter was very personable. The food was simply stellar. We started with the hemp bread rolls fresh out of the oven and oozing in butter. What’s not to like! We then had the 3 different types of oysters of the day. I selected the scallops and Jason got the Halibut. "

"The ambiance by itself is impressive. The top to bottom windows make the whole place light up. It’s important to have reservations if you’re going during tourist season - we reserved a table “outside” in the covered patio, where they are equipped with freestanding propane heaters. The food was amazing but I’m still reeling from the prices. I’m glad we went once, but can’t imagine going back. Our total for three people, with tip was $245. We had appetizers: buttered rolls (3, small) and cornbread (2, small); crab cake fritters (3, golf-ball-sized); Fish and Chips (fine, but not $25 fiiine); Pan seared scallops (5, medium: good, but not $44 good and disappointed with the portions): baked haddock (excellent!); one $12 mixed drink; three beers; and a glass of wine. Take someone here who’s expensing the meal. Otherwise, there is plenty of amazing, less expensive seafood in Portland!!! "

"One of the best restaurant I have eaten at! "

"Such a beautiful and classy restaurant right on the water! From the second you walk in, it’s amazing! The halibut was actually INCREDIBLE! We also tried mussels for the first time and they were pretty good (the cream sauce they were in was awesome- gotta make sure not to eat them if the mussel is closed). 10/10 would recommend for a nice date!
