"Divino un castillo yo arriba en una mintañita de un mini pueblo precioso, con un spa hermoso. "

"Castel Badia is an 11th-century castle, originally a Benedictine monastery and later a convent, that reopened in 2025 as a five-star hotel crowning a hill in South Tyrol's Val Pusteria. The design pairs original stonework, vaulted ceilings, a Romanesque chapel, and preserved crypts with reclaimed wood and contemporary alpine interiors, surrounded by 17 gardens including a centuries-old medicinal herb garden that feeds the spa. It's best known for its food and wellness: Michelin-starred chef Alberto Toè runs three distinct dining spaces, and the spa sets its treatment rooms in the former nuns' cells. It sits roughly 10-15 minutes from Kronplatz (Plan de Corones) with a free ski shuttle, under 10 minutes from Brunico, and within day-trip range of Cortina."
