"Since 2012, this tiny restaurant has impressed diners with its rustic-meets-fine dining take on California cuisine. After stints at fine dining powerhouses like the French Laundry and New York’s Daniel, co-owner and chef Ari Weiswasser has found satisfaction in a more casual environment, serving the folks of Glen Ellen his take on seasonal, wood-fired cooking. Pizzas, including a tomato pie kissed with piquant Aleppo pepper and a dab of creme fraiche, are especially ideal when paired with any of the seasonal wood-fired vegetable dishes. The restaurant often hosts wine dinners in collaboration with local wineries like Smith Story Wine Cellars and Talisman."

"Glen Ellen is one of the smaller towns in Sonoma County, but it’s well worth a visit for this little restaurant alone. This place is very casual and often filled with locals who are here for everything that comes out of the wood-fired oven: pizzas, charred vegetables, and often whole fish. There are also a couple of pastas if you need a break from things cooked with fire."
