"There’s an Old World feel to Bistro Don Giovanni, one of Napa’s most celebrated Italian restaurants. It’s a place that’s woven into the culture of Napa Valley, capturing the hearts of tourists and locals alike. The fritto misto ($20) is crackly and uncomplicated, while pastas are made in-house and have that desirable al dente chew — order the pasta of the day like the recent short rib ravioli ($34). For entrees, the salmon ($38), on a bed of fluffy mashed potatoes, is deceptively straightforward, but a seared crust makes it shine. There’s a general cozy buzz that radiates throughout the space, with kitschy art and copper pans hanging near the kitchen. Also featured on Top Napa Valley Restaurants."
