"Recommended by Jonathan Nunn: Some cafés are precious for their aesthetics, some for their location, and a small number for their actual food. Beppe’s is all three, the closest British Italian breakfast culture comes to the utilitarianism of an American diner. The bacon is thick cut and salty; the eggs have lacy, crispy edges; and the sausage is better than it has any right to be. I love the millennial pink ham here, sliced off a joint and paired with poached egg and chips."
