"The first recorded house at Carton was around the 17th century, at the beginning of the 19th century the house was enlarged and remodeled and became similar to the house w know today. The Carton House is located 23 km west of Dublin, Ireland. As of the year 2000 the house is functioning as a hotel. The boat house on the manor is highly photogenic as you can see below."
