"Artelice Patisserie â Los Angeles, CA Circa: 2026 · Times Visited: 3 Three visits in and I still can't get over how expensive this place is, and I still keep going back, so clearly they've won. Artelice is what happens when a French patisserie shows up in LA and just refuses to cut corners. đœïž Food - 8.2 / 10 Pastries Assortment Macarons - 8.7 Made literally perfectly with a great crisp on the crust. They're known throughout the state for their French pastries and you can't have great French pastries without perfect macarons. Got the assortment two of the three times we went and haven't had a bad one yet. Fruity flavors, chocolatey flavors, plain flavors, none of them too sweet, none of the fillings out of pocket. I've had macarons in France and these are genuinely close. Mousse Fruit Pastries - 7.9 These will run you a pretty penny. Only tried two individual pieces but they're fantastic mousse pastries shaped and airbrushed to look like real fruit. Genuinely impressive for a place with nine locations across LA that's always busy. There's got to be a warehouse somewhere full of unbelievably talented chefs just cranking these out all day. đž Drinks Iced Latte - 6.55 A little disappointing on the espresso side, but they're not a cafe, they're a patisserie that happens to also serve coffee. Judged on its own it was too acidic for me, but I was happy enough to have something alongside the pastries. Iced Mocha - 7.65 Liked this more than the latte, which is why I kept ordering it. The chocolate is made completely in house at the patisserie and it shows. They're leaning hard on that chocolate to save the drink, but it works. Cappuccino - 6.3 Made well with good technique and a solid amount of foam, real cappuccino style. But the espresso is more front and center in this one and it lets the whole thing down. đ€ Service - 7.85 / 10 Incredibly friendly across all three visits, and on two of them we got the same staff member who actually remembered us. My family visits often and everyone says the same thing about how friendly the staff are. Honestly, for what they're charging I don't think this level of service should even be a surprise, but judged on its own it's a very comfortable 7.85. âš Vibe - 7.7 / 10 Genuinely beautiful. You get transported into this French style patisserie world that, for a brief moment, helps you forget how expensive everything is. As a standalone experience the room does its job and does it well. đ° Value - 6.8 / 10 Everything here is ridiculously expensive. One of the mousse fruit pieces runs about eighteen Canadian dollars. But this is something you're not going to find easily anywhere in Canada, and it's genuinely hard to find replications of this outside of France or very niche parts of Europe. So the price starts to make more sense the more you think about it. They're matching value to what they're actually offering, and I have to give them credit for that even though the number still stings a little. â Overall - 7.9 / 10 Three visits and they've officially got me. The macarons are close to the real thing in France, the mousse fruit pastries are genuinely a piece of art, and the service makes you feel like a regular even when you're not spending regular money. "dĂšs que je finis plus tĂŽt je me dĂ©pĂȘche dâaller Ă cette pĂątisserie qui ferme Ă 18h. Chacune des viennoiseries est un dĂ©lice. La chocolatine me rappelle des bons souvenirs de France. Le cannelĂ© est parfaitement exĂ©cutĂ© avec un trĂšs bon goĂ»t de vanille. Le cinnamon roll est riche en cannelle. HĂąte de goĂ»ter toutes les autres merveilles toutes aussi originales que bonnes. Le cruffin et le NY Roll sont gĂ©nĂ©reusement garnis dâune purĂ©e de mangue pour lâun et du crĂšme lĂ©gĂšre Ă la vanille et pralinĂ© pour lâautre, avec un feuilletage Ă tomber. Le croisant Ă la pistache en revanche Ă©tait un peu sec, le filling bien que fort en pistache pourrait ĂȘtre plus glossy. La babka quant Ă elle Ă©tait super bonne, bien moelleuse et gĂ©nĂ©reuse en chocolat, un vrai dĂ©lice !! "

"Stunning new patisserie Artelice has some of the most beautiful, and technically sound, pastries and desserts in Los Angeles. With a full time patisserie in Burbank, as well as a weekend-focused spot in Sawtelle, these are grand sweets that would elevate any afternoon tea or evening gathering. The pastries and croissants are excellent as well."
