"You won't find a single baked good at the Lower East Side’s Supermoon Bakehouse that isn't technically flawless, so if you're nerdy for laminated pastries, you're going to love this place. They have a rotating menu of croissants, cruffins, eclairs, doughnuts, and a few savory items like the best sausage roll in NYC and some pizza/focaccia hybrids. They rely on a Supreme-style marketing strategy of swaggy packaging and weekly pastry drops, so expect consistently long lines on the weekends. They also make very good soft serve ice cream."

"Consigliato da @cartolinedacristina Nonostante abbia aperto nel 2017, il mio primo incontro con @supermoonbakehouse e’ stato durante la pandemia, perché hanno lanciato i “Care Packages” ovvero dei pacchetti colazione con dentro diversi tipi di dolci, croissant, eclairs, donuts e chi più ne ha più ne metta, spediti direttamente a casa tua durante il lockdown. Un modo carino per essere vicini alla loro comunità, e rendere l’inizio giornata più facile a tutta New York che era chiusa in casa. Da allora, la bakery, non ha riaperto come prima (con i tavolini d posto per sedersi dentro) ma si fa forza di un paio di trovate marketing e dolci stupefacenti per continuare a offrire l’ottimo servizio. In particolare: 🍩 Il menu e i dolci che servono cambiano costantemente, cosicché uno e’ costretto ad andarci per vedere cosa c’è di nuovo (ieri ho provato il lemon key lime pie cookie 🤩) 🎂I dolci sono incredibilmente Instagrammabili, ma il luogo non lo è, facendo si che i clienti vengano per l’effettivo prodotto e non (più) per farsi foto in un ambiente tutto rosa. Tattica vincente quella di avere un semplice tavolo mezzo provvisorio con i nomi dei dolci scritti a mano e la vista sul laboratorio! 🍰I care package che esistono ancora: dal giovedì alla domenica potete prenotarli e farcelo arrivare a casa o in hotel (NY e NJ) - arrivano in una scatola scintillante rosa metallico, cangiante quanto il menu stesso, che cambia appunto ogni settimana. Nel menu di questa settimana c’era il Passion Fruit donut, il super Boston Cream, il Ferrero Rocher Cruffin, e il Lemon Key Lime Pie Cookie."
