Tout d’abord, 17 hectares de verdure où les touristes et locaux aiment se balader, jouer et prendre un pique-nique au soleil. Au centre, un lac, et une magnifique cascade dessinée par Josep Fontseré en 1875 avec la participation d’Antonio Gaudi, qui se sont pour cela inspirés de la célèbre fontaine de Trevi à Rome. We knew what to do before our visit, but we still had a super hard time finding this London underground pub. The trick is – look for The Breakfast Club – the secret bar is inside it. Once you enter The Breakfast Club, ask the waiter to “see the Mayor”. When you say this password, a waiter will open up a fridge and urge you to go inside it! Don’t be scared, it’s kind of like the Doctor’s TARDIS – bigger on the inside! Now that you’ve entered this great place to drink in London, make sure you order the nachos – they’re delicious! Despite having one of the lamest names, The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town has one of the cooler features of all these secret bars. To find it you should head to The Breakfast Club on Artillery Lane, Old Street and tell a member of staff that you’re here to “see the mayor”. They will then lead you through a door hidden behind one of those old Smeg (also terribly named) fridges to a basement bar.
