"🙌🏼One of Japan’s biggest restaurant brands opened 3 stores in London during 2021 and I’m an absolute fan @marugameuk 🍜The udon noodles are freshly pulled on a daily basis and they are served in a variety of dishes plated in front of customers. They only accept walk-ins and service is fast. 🍘The stores also offer a full tempura bar that ranges from Karaage to pumpkin croquettes, bottomless matcha soft serve and several different Japanese snacks such as dorayaki. I recommend: 1) Beef Nikutama (my absolute favorite, look at that gorgeous sous-vide poached egg)🔥 2) Udon chicken katsu curry 3) Karaage, veggie gyozas and asparagus tempura 4) A video showing the udon serving 5) A video of the amazing tempura bar"

"Decent Udon, tempura station, cheap prices. Koya is more authentic but Marugame is the same as the one in Japan. The restaurant is huge and it’s full self service so you can pop in with a group of many friends (6-10)"
