"Top 50 2023 Boston Magazine « One of our favorites is the Sultan’s Delight, which diverges from its Turkish roots by using beef in lieu of lamb and adding tamarind for a fruity boost. The best way to enjoy it? With a creative Mediterranean-inspired cocktail in hand, sitting on the romantic patio (in warmer months), an ideal spot for date nights and celebrations. But don’t forget to top it all off with the restaurant’s cult-favorite baked Alaska with coconut ice cream and passion-fruit caramel. »"

"14th on Best Restaurants of Boston Magazine 2023 Chef Ana Sortun Top-notch Mediterranean/Middle Eastern. Patio seating in warm weather"

"Sister restaurant of Sarma No surprise: Pretty amazing. N styled in a residential area, the restaurant has a very serene ambiance and wonderful back patio. At a time when lighting often too deemed in a lot of restaurant, they have it just right! Bright enough to see what you are being served and take great IG picture 😉. We sat in the back room which is very cozy and quiet. The food like at Sarma is very good. We started with the Whipped Feta and crackers, the Cauliflower dish, the lamb and eggplant moussaka, the spinach falafel and swordfish balls. The Cauliflower was our favorite: very well balanced with the right touch of acidity. We finished with a Baked Alaska which was impressive in presentation but okay. The baklavas though we’re AMAZING!!!! "

"Went with eric. Got 5 dishes: warm buttered hummus (does not come with bread, good but not lifechanging), sultan’s delight (beef), koginut squash and lamb moussaka (like a ragu), vermont quail kebab, and fatteh (one with a crispy chip kind of thing) "

"Sister of Sarma with also good food. Fancy formal vibe to it (not crazy formal just more so than Sarma)"

@nick.williams8

"This gem of Greater Boston’s restaurant world goes hand in hand with its Somerville sibling, Sarma, in serving quality, memorable meals night after night, drawing inspiration from Turkey and elsewhere around the Middle East. The cozy restaurant has one of the most romantic patios around, and its seasonally rotating menu delivers a different experience with the same hospitality time after time. Operating with a cordials license, the restaurant has an inventive cocktail menu, with a wide array of sherry and aperitifs, and it’s famous for its baked Alaska dessert"
