"MEDITERRANEAN: Cute restaurant, very accommodating, can sometimes be busy. Very delicious! We ordered sweet potato hummus, halloumi skewers (yum), chicken skewers, market salad, half brick chicken, hangar steak (yum). Falafel was disappoinnting. Simple Loaf has better babka. Labne mousse was unique and intneresting, tasting like pop rocks. I probably will skip dessert next time"

"Many stylish Middle Eastern restaurants have opened in recent years, but few have come close to putting a dent in the crowds that rush to Miss Ada nightly. This Fort Greene charmer features a cozy dining room, a darling backyard patio and garden, and a keen menu packed with dips, meats, and veggies. Whipped ricotta with brown butter, sage, and honey is a sweet staple, as is the fantastic hummus topped with tender lamb shawarma. Sharing is the name of the game here, from the vibrant market salads to charred skewers like kofta with pine nut, short rib with cabbage, and halloumi with green tahini. All of it arrives properly seasoned and spiced from a shockingly small kitchen. Though reservations are scarce, walk-ins can find refuge at the bar."

"Bib Gourmand 2025 18.06.25 | Jenny, Nikhil, Poli — the perfect place for bites with friends (would be too noisy for your parents!); excellent execution on mezze (no doubt it’s in-house for once!) "Middle Eastern eateries are popping up faster than you can say labneh, but Miss Ada stands apart from the pack. This Fort Greene charmer delivers a one-two punch of good looks and great food. Rustic chic meets urban cool in the dining room, but wait, what’s that out back? It’s only the most darling backyard patio and garden, of course.Chef Tomer Blechman puts his own stamp on the ancient cuisine of the Middle East. Whipped ricotta with brown butter, sage, and honey may just convince you to set aside the flatbread and pick up a spoon, while smoky octopus is ramped up with grassy Castelvetrano olives. Hanger steak, bathed in a charred onion tahini, will have you begging for more. Even the wine list shows off some quirky and playful offerings."
