"Chinese pretty good for a group meal. All the apps were great, you order like a big group dry bowl to share. Drinks were nothing special."

"Northern Chinese, had the amazing dry pot for two with 7-10 ingredient choices! Lotus root, lamb, cauliflower, pork belly, Chinese cabbage, king oyster mushrooms, sweet potato noodles, medium spicy, cilantro"

"Rlly cute and fun Szechuan place specializing in hotpot. Ryan and I went in Williamsburg on a Tuesday and it was trivia night! Got Ming bean jelly rlly yum. Shrimp fried noodles yum but tasted like any other Chinese place. Scallion pancakes rlly oily and basic but good I guess. Lychee martini yum. Veggie dumplings bad. Had the worst diarrhea of 2025 after this. Don’t go back "

"Great dinner. Get the big bowl to share. Get 10-14 items and split with 2 people. Or get a small plate and 9 things in the bowl. Medium spicy is good"

"Dry pot-lamb was good. Next time instead of bok boy, get broccoli. And medium but spicy was doable"

"CHINESE: casual but funky interior with brick and pick neon. Dry pot can be shared or individual. Spicy was definitely tolerable. Spic levels vary per visit. Beef tenderloin, enoki, wood ear, baby corn, bamboo shoots, tofu pocket, glass noodle were all good! Scallion pancakes crispy! Lotus root is yummy."

"Dry pot style of Chinese. I recommend sticking with dry pot and avoid the sides/other dishes. The dry pot tasted so good. Tasty spices. Stick with medium spice and side of white rice. "

"Add this delicious venture to the growing list of Chinese restaurants that are finally giving Manhattanites a chance to feast on spice levels once reserved for the outer boroughs. Inside MáLà Project’s two rooms, find seating that includes a long, group-friendly communal table tucked into a nook, exposed brick walls, beautiful floors and big green leafy plants. Dinner could go in any number of delicious directions, but a MáLà dry pot is really the best option. Diners are given a choice of ingredients—meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, rice—and then asked for their desired degree of spiciness. A pot of lamb, bok choy, wood ear mushrooms, shrimp balls and chicken gizzards make their way into a wok with a fragrant “secret sauce” and complex spiced oil."

"Eater - Amelie Kang’s midtown restaurant remains a fantastic spot to enjoy the wonders of Sichuan dry pots. Patrons build their own bowls filled with fiery blends of any number of ingredients, including (but not limited to) beef tenderloin, tripe, tendon, tongue, squid, crab stick, tofu skin, rice cake, enoki mushrooms, and spam. Also consider the wonderfully slippery liangfen mung bean noodles to start off with."
