"This historic trattoria, around since the 1920s, serves superbly-executed plates in a wood-paneled space just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain. The atmosphere leans towards the high-end, as do the prices, though the restaurant remains surprisingly unfussy. "Going to Al Moro, is like stepping back in time, because the ambience, service and food are traditional and first-class. It is located in the heart of Rome, in a quiet street steps away from the Trevi fountain. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the food is reliably excellent, superb even! We ate at an outside table on a sunny Roman afternoon, and the waiters had kindly welcomed us despite I had my #dobermann #puppy, which I very much appreciated. A must have, is the ‘Spaghetti alla Moro’ , the restaurant’s revisited version of the #carbonara pasta, a phenomenal dish. All around, it is worth a visit, you’ll have an excellent experience from start to finish."
