Beaucoup de mobilier ancien, ainsi que des objets collectors sur les murs (la première cloche du Madison Square Garden, un avis de recherche de l’assassin d’Abraham Lincoln, etc). Selon le propriétaire, aucun élément du décor n’a été jeté depuis la mort du fondateur en 1910. Un véritable petit musée. Jusque dans les années 70, McSorley’s était interdit aux femmes. Ce n’est bien sûr plus le cas aujourd’hui. Au contraire, c’est devenu assez touristique, avec parfois une file d’attente pour rentrer. Cela dit, ça vaut quand même le coup d’y faire un tour pour son côté authentique."
