I’m no interior designer but I think it’s an example of a beautiful visual harmony of textures: plants, fabric, wood and metal. You get the feeling of eco-consciousness in the design as you step in. Also It was a Saturday night and the Dj belting out some interesting tunes at the bar added to the allure of the venue. Food ~ The starter of Carpaccio of English Wagyu was so good I ordered it twice! The monkfish was brilliant, delicious & cooked to perfection so was the steak but I would have preferred it presented differently. Service ~ Friendly staff, quick and incredibly helpful. "Dovetale, in a corner of the 1Hotel Mayfair – one of 2023's most hyped hotel openings – is a place of Scandi-luxe neutrals and flickering fires spilling out onto a terrace. The provenance-driven European menu here elevates the classics: Isle of Wight tomato tart, wagyu carpaccio, beef fat chips. For pudding, a retro trolley by the bar serves Knickerbocker Glories – keeping things fresh and fun, but always delicious. The wine list is overseen by Tara Ozols, who won Michelin’s Sommelier Award earlier this year, and skews organic and natural."
