"Dish to order: Smoked labneh octopus The owners of The Barbary (two former nightclub owners and two Israeli chefs) have created something rare – a set of London restaurants (The Palomar, The Barbary, The Barbary Next door) where a table is as coveted now as it was on opening night. While you wait for a seat at this Covent Garden outpost, order some flaky pastry cigars stuffed with fish and a round of pita pouches of lamb as comforting as mittens in winter. It's difficult to separate stand-out dishes but the charred octopus tentacle and neck of pata negra pork are both contenders. A talking point round the bar, the pistachio-filled 'hashcake' comes with the satisfyingly smoky aftertaste of a joint. East London Liquor Company gin and tonics are served with a slice of grapefruit and the Zweigelt goes with pretty much everything on the menu. This is still one of our favourite spots in London."

"Questo ristorantino, il cui nome si ispira a quella che nel XVI secolo si chiamava Costa berbera (in pratica il Mediterraneo), è un tripudio di piatti superbi come cavolfiore arrostito intero con una salsa molto speziata, hummus decostruito, costolette d’agnello all’harissa e polpo in melassa di melograno. Il pane piatto esce gonfio dal forno tandoor, mentre il Jerusalem bagel vi impedirà per sempre di apprezzare i bagel acquistati in negozio."

"Tucked away in Neal’s yard, the place is located within the heart of seven dials, coven garden. To avoid getting lost, access the yard from shorts garden and look out for the palm tree logo on the wall. Closest tube station is Cohen garden which is a 6 minute walking distance"
