"Oi Man Sang (愛文生) is one of Hong Kong’s oldest, most iconic, and last remaining legitimate dai pai dongs (open-air street food stalls). Established in 1956 in the working-class district of Sham Shui Po, it is world-renowned for its intense, high-heat Cantonese cooking fueled by kerosene burners. This setup generates massive flames and produces an incredible, smoky "wok hei" (breath of the wok) flavor that infuses every dish. The average price range at Oi Man Sang is approximately HK$150 to HK$300 per person for a satisfying meal. While individual menu items are moderately priced for their massive, shareable portion sizes, your total bill will depend heavily on whether you stick to classic stir-fries or indulge in fresh seafood."

"This is probably Hong Kong’s most famous dai pai dong, restaurants that have street setups and still have licenses to cook with high-octane kerosene that powers the woks. There are only about 20 left and Oi Man Sing is the one you should visit."
