Midsummer House

"For traditional British cooking techniques with a modern approach, Cambridge’s Midsummer House ticks all of the boxes. Chef-owner Daniel Clifford set up the restaurant in 1999 and now works with head chef Mark Abbott and their team to serve up Michelin-approved dishes along the River Cam. Championing natural, seasonal ingredients, the tasting menu is packed with loved British tastes and international flavours. Think Irish oysters with passion fruit, green pepper and jalapenos; Cambridgeshire asparagus with cocoa nib, pistachio puree, pickled mushroom and sorrel; and Cornish turbot with razor clams, white asparagus, samphire and jus de cuisson."
