"Ever since its humble beginnings in a tiny shared space on Club Street (coffee shop by day, bar by night), No Sleep Club has been hitting it out of the park. But then again, this all-day concept is owned by some of the best in the business. Juan Yi Jun (formerly of Operation Dagger and 1880) makes amazing drinks using techniques that you or I may not be familiar with, however that doesn’t matter when the drinks are this delicious and, in bar parlance, totally “smashable”. The Tom Yum & Melon and tequila Espresso Martini (served in a coffee cup) come to mind. Then you have Jessica Hutchinson (ex-28HKS), who can make a mean cocktail but is also the queen of hospitality and makes every visit feel like coming home. Add some super-tasty grub by new chef Pete (order the bone marrow mash if available, the tartare, and the cheesecake donuts) and be prepared to stay awhile."

"The 6th best cocktails bar in Asia but I don’t recommend it. It’s under quality compare to many bars in singapore in this list. Food not so good, cocktails with preparation in plastic bottles, service so so, cocktails not that good, Barman not talkative a bit unfriendly. Pricy like others. We stayed 30 minutes and left. "

From its beginnings as a tiny pop-up on Singapore’s Club Street to its current location on the ever-bustling Keong Saik Road, the bar has gone from strength to strength. After winning the Campari One To Watch Award in 2020, it followed up with the Disaronno Highest New Entry Award in 2021 and now consolidates its position in the top 20 of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022. This success is hardly surprising when you consider that it’s owned by Juan Yi Jun, who ran the show at Operation Dagger, and Jessica ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson, the front-of-house doyenne formerly of 28 HongKong Street as well as EC Proof. The all-day concept welcomes guests for coffee, snacks, one of the best tequila-based Espresso Martinis around as well as a banging Reverse Harvard. Add some of the fried prawns, the Wagyu tartare and perhaps peruse the well-curated wine list if you are so inclined, or join the team for the very popular Sunday roast. salmon and aranchini good. brioche not.
