"Amazing food and amazing service. The atmosphere is very nice and quiet. I’d suggest wearing a polo at minimum. Desserts also just okay."

"Michelin Guide mention 2024 Ritzy and elegant, Marea couldn't ask for a better home than Central Park South. This airy dining room, dressed to the nines with Indonesian rosewood, is abuzz with power crowds. It's hard to beat this scene but the food is appealing in its own right. Start by ordering the crudo di Alfonsino, a plate of lightly smoked fish with peach slivers and a fermented peach vinaigrette. Next, twirl a fork into a saucy bowl of spaghetti brimming with Manila clams and calamari and accented with garlic and pepperoncino. Roasted lamb loin with a croquette of sausage is a solid main course. For dessert, opt for the ring of dark chocolate mousse with a crumbly chocolate shortbread crust and fior di latte gelato."

""Ritzy and elegant, Marea couldn’t ask for a better home than Central Park South. This airy dining room, dressed to the nines with Indonesian rosewood, is abuzz with power crowds. It's hard to beat the scene, but the food has its own appeal. Top quality seafood is the focus of this ambitious, Italian-leaning carte. Nothing commences a meal here like the crudo. Other antipasti, like Nova Scotia lobster with burrata, offer comfort and flavor. Consider sharing a house-made pasta (maybe fusilla with red-wine braised octopus). before moving on to seared sea scallops with caraflex cabbage or wild striped bass with prosciutto. Desserts are strong and typically an homage to the team's creative spirit, as in the tiramisu, which arrives alongside mascarpone gelato. ONE STAR.""
