Boon Eat + Drink, her first restaurant in the area, is the crown jewel of the restaurateur’s resume. Dinner service begins at 4 p.m., with a menu that reaches for California ingredients but leaves ample room for comfort. Case in point: the maddeningly gooey mac and cheese, made savory with mushrooms.
