"The casual counterpart to owner Dino Bugica’s elegant Santi, Diavola is an essential stopover for anyone cavorting through Wine Country. It’s got masterful platters of house-cured meats and cheeses ($30) and a menu of Neapolitan pizzas featuring Bugica’s umami-packed salamis, smoked meats and attractively blistered crusts. To get to the secluded back patio, you have to walk through an alley that seems airlifted from an old Italian city, complete with laundry lines populated with swaying blouses. There, you can sit on well-worn wooden benches among herb plants and flowers in what’s essentially a glass-roofed greenhouse."
