"Top 100 If you were to imagine a fine dining experience in Wine Country, you might envision white tablecloths in a charming, rustic farmhouse overlooking a vineyard. Cyrus has the vineyard, but the building is more Bond villain HQ than quaint country manor. Designed by starchitects Olson Kundig, responsible for such projects as the renovation of Seattle’s Space Needle, the building is as elemental to the meal as the food, beverages and service. Canapés are served in the bar area overlooking the vines. Diners then progress into the kitchen, where they are invited to wander between courses served at a horseshoe-shaped communal table. The heart of the meal takes place in the dining room — no white tablecloths in sight — and a parting sweet gift is dispensed in a zany, walk-in-closet-sized room with a chocolate waterfall."
