"Though it’s not anywhere near Grand Central Terminal, this taqueria gets almost as crowded at lunch and dinnertime due to the excellence of its tacos. The space is narrow, and offers little accommodation for dining, just a table or two and an eating shelf, suggesting tacos should be downed fast before the tortilla begins to crack and crumble. Tacos are served three to an order, with a can’t-miss shrimp taco (the unbreaded shellfish sauteed with peppers and onions), and a vegetarian pinto bean taco that also contains rice, making it a species of taco placeros."
