It's a fun vibe, as diners are tightly packed at a long counter with communal seats in the chic wood plank-encased room; servers do a good job attending to the crowd. Mediterranean flavors factor prominently in the kitchen's stimulating creations, like a kale and carrot salad dressed with delightfully herbaceous and spicy green harissa as well as sunflower seeds for crunch. A thick slice of excellent whole grain bread spread with walnut-beet muhamarra is the foundation of an open-faced roasted salmon sandwich. Other delights - there are many - come and go with the seasons."

"8/7/21 - Went with R for 25th Anniversary. Ate outside (they took over Blackbird’s sidewalk). Inside is interesting and a little loud and tables close together so outside was better but inside would have worked (particularly in non-COVID). Small plates. Mostly Mid East/ Mediterranean. Believe they may change their menu periodically to other regions. All was good but the butcher steak was outstanding. Brandade (a warm salted cod potato mixture was good to try but tasted a little too much like a tuna melt- no need to repeat. Everything else very good. Would go back any time and would be good with friends too. 5/4/24 - Went with R. Still very good. Prawns were very good. "
