"By Marilise Dignita (for lunch they make the best poached eggs. Always busy though) Dignita Amsterdam is one of our favourite brunch spots in Amsterdam South. Well actually, in all of Amsterdam really. Healthy, organic, very tasty, and always cosy. They opened a second location, which make the trip a little less long. The second location of Dignita Amsterdam is on the Nieuwe Herengracht close to the Waterlooplein and Artis. We immediately think of the perfect Sunday; waking up with a good cup of coffee and an extensive brunch at Dignita, and afterwards going to the pretty Artis. You’ll find Dignita Hoftuin Amsterdam at the courtyard of the Hermitage, which makes it the perfect spot to escape from the busy city. Enjoy the green, the peacefulness and the great atmosphere. What can you order at this Eat Well Do Good spot? What about the Forest Dwellers: enoki, portabello, brown beech & button mushrooms sautéed with truffled creme fraiche served on rustic homemade bread with beets and Emmentaler Cheese, or American pancakes with dates ‘salted cameral’, mascarpone, flambeed banana, crumbled airy coffee foam & pure maple syrup.
