Evoking an atmosphere of industrial-chic with floor-to-ceiling windows, this former garage could almost be a nightclub. Handmade pasta and seafood dishes, all expertly prepared, are certainly worth the wait if all the tables, including those on the pavement, are already taken. However, no one has been surprised by its success. She's often present, flitting between the pared-back high-ceilinged dining room and the kitchen, preparing sublime pasta that runs the gamut from corzetti to mafaldini, accompanied by just a few ingredients - perhaps tangy sheep's cheese, spicy lamb sausage, anchovy, pine nuts, speck or pink peppercorns. When the swordfish is pulled out of the wood-fired grill, the aroma may temporarily transport you to the Amalfi Coast.
