"Restaurant italien de pâtes À prendre : Garlic bread, bucatini a limone, ragu "

"The room is always bright and comfy while a consistent stream of people comes through for chef Sol’s short rib ragu, chicken parmesan cutlet, and wonderfully cheesy garlic bread. A glass of prosecco goes well with just about everything, and the chef’s taste in music is a perfect modern and soulful touch for the old-school space, which is their father’s former and decades-old Jino’s Pizza. "This cozy brother-and-sister-owned restaurant offers straightforward Italian American fare in a bright space formerly operated by their father. Chef Sol Bashirian prepares cheesy garlic bread, baked eggplant, a hearty Bolognese, and milanesa. A glass of prosecco goes well with everything."

"Sunday Gravy is one of those special Inglewood spots with a history. Brother and sister owners Ghazi and Sol Bashirian opened Sunday Gravy in the fall of 2019, in the exact same site that housed the longstanding Gino’s Pizza. Their father opened the pizzeria in 1970, but now his children get to feed the same neighborhood with old-school Italian classics like meatball subs, beef ragu lasagna, and chicken parm cutlets. Sol sources pasta from nearby Florentyna’s Fresh Pasta Factory, solidifying itself as a South LA specialist in comfort food. During regular times, they even have white and red checkered tablecloths while soulful playlists fill the room. While driving on Centinela, look for the sign that depicts a heaping plate of spaghetti and meatballs, and don’t forget to order prosecco or lambrusco. 1122 Centinela Ave., Inglewood."
