"Kuy tiev, Phnom Penh Noodles which come with rice noodles, pork meat (sliced, ground, stomach, liver) and shrimp. The broth is pork bone based and you can choose to get it on the side making the noodles dry if you please. "

Open for takeout and delivery. Take out By PATRICIA ESCÁRCEGA Long Beach’s landmark Cambodian noodle restaurant specializes in kuy teav, a traditional breakfast soup layered with springy noodles, aromatics and various porky odds and ends. The clear, wholesome broth is lovely, vaguely sweet and vivid with cilantro, green onions and the deep musk of garlic. For ballast, order the seafood version laden with shrimp, fish cake, squid, scallops and mussels; the chluy bowl, furnished with chewy flaps of beef intestine and pork rinds, is particularly lush. Perhaps the most comforting thing on the menu is the terrific chicken porridge, which tastes wonderful with the airy, baton-like donut called cha quai. You dip it in the fragrant creamy whorl and the fried dough dissolves as naturally as snow melting in sunshine Phnom Penh Noodles Phnom Penh is one of the best Cambodian restaurants in Long Beach, and frankly, one of our favorite spots in the whole city, period. Open Tuesday-Sunday from 7am-3pm, this tiny place specializes mostly in breakfast comfort dishes like rice porridge and meat pies, but it’s their house special noodle soup with pork bone broth that we’ll brave even the foggiest of mornings to eat. You can choose between rice or egg noodles, but we actually prefer doing a mix of both. "
