@montanari.diletta
"THE hotel for upper class travellers on the Orient Express, Agatha Christie stayed here regularly in Room 411. The room has been preserved ever since, though only hotel guests can visit it. Pricy though it may be, it’s worth a visit for a cocktail in this beautiful and historic hotel, with its magnificent views over Istanbul."

"Long been a beacon for writers and artists. It was built by French-Ottoman architect Alexander Vallaury in 1892 and Agatha Christie is said to have written Murder on the Orient Express here, while Ernest Hemingway was another regular. Make sure you ride up the old cage, it’s said to be the second oldest un the world."
