"€30 and under Greek In February 2000, Jannis, together with his Finnish wife Terttu, opened the Greek restaurant "Cafe Jannis" at Hanauer Landstraße 6. As an unpretentious working-class and football pub with a rustic flair and simple food offerings, Café Jannis quickly achieved cult status. In 2016 it was time for a change of scenery – modernization measures and the renaming to Jannis took place. Since then, Jannis has been serving authentic Greek cuisine in a cozy and modern ambience. The menu includes many classics, such as freshly grilled souvlaki skewers, bifteki stuffed with feta and, of course, the "best gyros in the world" according to the FAZ (source: FAZ of 10.12.2017, Peter Badenhop).
