"Alcova (15-21 avril) The seventh edition of Alcova (find more here) — the platform for independent design developed by Space Caviar and Studio Vedèt — takes place from April 15-21 in the setting of two emblematic villas in the Milan metropolitan area: Villa Borsani and Villa Bagatti Valsecchi. Villa Borsani, completed in 1945 and designed by Osvaldo Borsani, is renowned for its Modernist architecture, lush gardens, and unique features such as a Lucio Fontana fireplace. It also houses the Archivio Osvaldo Borsani. Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, constructed for a noble Milanese family as a summer retreat and entertainment venue, represents a significant example of 19th-century villa architecture in Lombardy. Both villas host Alcova’s carefully curated selection of experimental designers, institutions, and a diverse program of talks and performances, all focused on exploring the future of living and design. "
