"Really good brunch spot! Had really good potato latkes and a tzatziki dip and flatbread. So good! They have a bottomless option"

"Dinner A Love Story Rec; Like many restaurants on the UWS, this place is ginormous — which usually turns me off — but Dagon is always filled and hoppin’ probably because the Middle Eastern fare they serve here is the best in the neighborhood. The mezze sampler with the chicken liver mousse is worth the price of admission alone. Bonus: Also has a beautiful bar. Good for: Destination dining, meeting friends, lunch, dinner, drinks"

"Michelin Guide mention 2024 Dagon calls this prominent corner of Broadway home and is appealingly flanked by large windows. Inside, the room is open, spacious and easy-breezy, infused with shades of teal. Large glass light fixtures illuminate the off-center bar-ideal for solo diners-and the long counter, which is definitely the preferred perch among many a patron here. The menu is a clear and nuanced expression of Middle Eastern flavors, as may be evidenced by a well-dressed salad of onion, cucumber, tomato and schug. Fresh-baked breads, like kubaneh accompanied by creamy labneh, shouldn't be missed. Chicken liver mousse with mustard seeds and date syrup is a match made in culinary heaven; while short rib tagine with fluffy couscous makes for a flavor-packed feast."

"Elevated Mediterranean dishes are matched by wine & craft cocktails at this upmarket restaurant."

"Upper West Side Israeli/eastern Mediterranean Airy and sun-drenched, the dining room pulsates with Israeli pop and a steady conversational hum. If you didn’t know better, you would think you’d wandered into some beachside hot spot in Tel Aviv, not a post-pandemic restaurant in the sleepy West 90s. Chef Ari Bokovza’s Levantine-leaning menu looks similar to others across the city. But the familiar mezze and salads take a fun turn with delectable things like shishbarak (Lebanese mushroom-filled dumplings) and kubaneh, the fluffy Yemenite Jewish bread that you pull apart like Parker House rolls."

"Went here with Cory and Maria and Jason in August 2022. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside. Shared shakshuka and the eggplant dish. For main, I had the fabboush salad and everyone else had the burger. The burger was really really good and I would get that next time if I’m hungry. Fries are also bomb! Extra crunchy. Drinks were great, I has the aperol spritz. "

"Solid Israeli restaurant. Everything was good. Lamb was succulent but didn't have much flavor so don't get again. The "caramel crisp" dessert was great. "
