"Around since 1984, Café Sushi is not a place that you go to for ambiance exactly—it’s located in a nondescript building near Harvard Square, between a shoe-repair shop and a Dry Bar—but you’ll love it anyway. Bostonians who want sushi come here as often as they can for some of the best in the city, and the L-shaped spot, which was renovated and updated in summer of 2018, fills up from the moment the doors open for dinner. Sit at the dining bar to see the sushi chefs in action as they mold perfectly seasoned rice and fresh fish into traditional maki rolls, inventive interpretations, or sashimi. The restaurant prides itself on a daily-changing seasonal menu of sashimi and nigiri as well as always-available stalwarts"

"Cafe Sushi has been serving up amazing and affordable sushi for more than 30 years, a favorite of industry folks and general sushi lovers alike. The real treat is chef Seizi Imura’s omakase, a selection of seemingly endless courses that bounce joyfully between traditional preparations and funkier combinations. The omakase price varies and has crept up over the last few years, but it is generally around $110 per person. As of July 2021, Cafe Sushi hasn’t restarted indoor dining and is currently offering takeout and delivery only"
