"mocktails (ducktails as they call them) and instead of a menu, they ask for the flavor profile you want and make you a drink"

"Nice outdoor space, but was a bit too buggy when we went (maybe time of day/year/weather). Rotisserie duck was very good; short rib was very good, but sauce wasn’t the best; sweet corn cake was amazing; honey don’t cocktail was very good; salmon crudo sucked; cheese curds were good; Chicago dog toppings weren’t amazing, but hot dog was. NYT best restaurants in Chicago right now (2024); Try: duck fat fries (with toppings/sauce); duck wings"

"Went with Ran Finkelstein, Bob and Hannes. Good duck, but not worth it for the price. Would not go back if I had to pay for it."

"The Duck Inn $$ Kevin Hickey, chef-owner, is a neighborhood native done good, returning to his haunts at this homey-yet-luxe “gastrotavern” that feels at turns personal and superlative. The Duck Inn is named after Hickey’s great-grandmother’s Depression-era restaurant, once located not far from the tavern’s present location—and the food is a nod to that history. Depending on your dining style, opt for the five-course tasting menu or go hog-wild (or is it ducking wild?) on the a la carte list of upscale comforts."

"Rotisserie duck, duck fat hot dog. You never got around to planning that romantic getaway to Galena did you? Don’t feel bad - when you’re eating on the enclosed backyard patio at The Duck Inn in Bridgeport, you can forget you’re in the city. Order anything involving duck (including the whole rotisserie duck, which needs to be arranged ahead of time), or the duck-inn dog (a hot dog cooked in duck fat). Just make sure you have enough time to hang out after dinner and have drinks. The space has fire pits and comfortable chairs that will make you want to stay a while."

"This secluded backyard, complete with vegetable and herb gardens, is the perfect place to enjoy a pint of the restaurant's latest collaboration beer. The sun-soaked space also hosts regular events, such as a salmon bake and pizza party. Drink This: Begyle You Lika Da Juice? Apple Ale Eat This: Hamburger sandwich"
