"Rooted in nature, Wildhive is a new hotel brand aiming to shine a spotlight on under-explored rural areas of the UK. First up is Callow Hall, a listed Victorian pile surrounded by rolling hills and open space at the southern tip of the Peak District. In the renovated main house, rooms have botanical artworks, paisley- print cushions and scallop-edged lampshades (for a more into-the-woods experience, book a cabin or treehouse). A wellness space in the former coach house has maps and bicycles for days out along the Tissington Trail. The chef can whip up a picnic for lunch by the burbling Bentley Brook, or afternoon tea on the lawn.
