"El Minutito is a charming café-bar located at Londres 28 in Mexico City’s Colonia Juárez, inspired by the conviviality of Italian standing bars and the warmth of traditional Mexican cantinas. Designed by architect Lucas Cantú, the space features a retro aesthetic with brass accents and a bespoke clock, creating an inviting atmosphere for both locals and travelers. By day, patrons can enjoy expertly crafted coffees, pastries, and sandwiches, while evenings transform the venue into a lively spot offering tapas, natural wines, and cocktails, all accompanied by a curated selection of ’80s and ’90s music. With its unique blend of design, ambiance, and culinary offerings, El Minutito has become a beloved gathering place in the heart of Mexico City."

"El Minutito is a small, Italian-inspired coffee shop that moonlights as a wine bar after dark. Located just a few steps from Plaza Washington in the Juarez neighborhood, the business focuses on the social aspects of European coffee culture; the place has no seating — except a tiny bench on the sidewalk — instead encouraging customers to stand at the bar (and discouraging remote workers setting up shop with their laptops and phones). It makes for an intimate space to start the morning with caffeine, a croissant, or a grilled cheese sandwich. Once the sun sets, the bar kicks in, offering aperitivos, espresso martinis, vermouth, and natural wine."

"Mexico City café-bar El Minutito, designed by architect Lucas Cantú, was envisioned as a sanctuary for the enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures. Mirrors are strategically placed to reflect and expand the space, while wood infuses it with a warm, cosy atmosphere. At the central, custom-designed bar where a bespoke clock elegantly ticks away the minutes, paying homage to the café’s name (‘in a minute’ in Spanish) – guests can savour pastries, pan dulce and Mexican hot chocolate during the day. And, as evening falls, botanas (snacks) are served on dainty plates, while moreish cocktails mark the beginning of the evening as the music picks up pace. fantastic little coffee shop by day and bar at night. very clean inside and super friendly staff. the coffee is delicious. take a seat inside a modern interior or outside among plants or inside a refurbished van. the pastry’s also look fantastic.
