"Leaving this dinner feeling very conflicted. Brought a friend for his bday dinner here - three of us. We opted in to ordering the “let the kitchen cook for you” tasting menu. This is not a preset menu, but simply involves the waiter bringing you a selection of the dishes off the menu. It started off very nice with a few raw bar items and starters that were very good. Everything remained tasty throughout the meal, but by the end I realized we had not gotten our value worth at all. The tasting was $95 per head and I added up all the things they brought us and it came out to ~$70 per head. And what they brought us were smaller portions of the items so even less. For the main course they literally brought 1 bbq pork chop for 3 people to share. In what world is the main course of a testing menu supposed to be 1 pork chop. They had some things on the menu that looked delicious that they did not bring also - kaluga caviar, uni toast, wagyu sando. All the top tier items they did not include in the tasting - so weird. Overall I liked the food, I would go back and order a la carte, but the tasting menu left a bad taste in my mouth. Like how did I just get a $600 bill for 3 people and main course was 1 pork chop. Feel like I got scammed. Oh and they asked what water we would like at beginning and we said sparkling. And they proceeded to bring out sparkling water all night w out asking and I had a $40 water bill at the end of the night. I don’t like that. 7.1/10 "
