"FactorĂ­a Habana is an impressive gallery space and centre for contemporary art championed by the Office of the City Historian, an organization led by the late Eusebio Leal that championed the restoration of the historic Old Havana neighbourhood. Since 2009 and under the direction of curator Concha Fontenla, FactorĂ­a Habana promotes creative dialogue, and artistic experimentation with a strong focus on promoting contemporary Cuban art and design through exhibitions, workshops, multidisciplinary labs, conferences and other cultural activities."
