"Nice structure, even thought we preferred the amboseli one much more. The dining room offers again great views of the green plains, the volcanic hill in front of the building, Kilimangiaro at the horizon. Right in front of the lodge there was a pond where we saw gazelles and zebras even at night. Our suite was ok, smaller than the amboseli but still nice. Wifi was not working all over the structure but still it was ok. Side note: our room had a door connecting to another room of other guests. it has been quite annoying to hear the talkings until late at night because the door was soooo thin. The entrance door of the room as well as the ceramic glass wall in the shower (that was facing on the stairs outside...) were not our favorite as it was not the best for privacy (from outside you can see that someone is showering quite neatly...) And the door had like breathing holes in the door which helped mosquitos to get in from there (and also we could hear outside as they could hear us talking) Anyway it was a special occasion for us and they tried to accomplish our request as they could. The receptionist was not excellent speaking in English, but we really enjoyed the wooden decor and the gallery explaining the history of Kenya and of the people who built the Uganda railway. The food was mostly Indian recipes same as the amboseli serena lodge"
