"Posto sincero! Papà dice “è uguale identico a 25 anni fa”! Calice di vino €5, tramezzino €3! Vino “tipico” il Fragolino (not approved!) "

"Genuine mountain-town wine-spot with many recurring locals in attendance. Very small inside, basically no seating outside (except for a small bench with a couple of places). The atmosphere is more for chit-chat while sipping good wine, not for your big groups. Refined but casual. Extensive list of wines, covering labels from each of Italy’s 20 regions. Cicchetti used to be outstanding, now they are very good (boiled egg filled with Cantabrico anchovies). Smalls sandwiches/tramezzini: butter and anchovies (great); tuna, capers and olives. Food menu is very limited: mostly cold cuts and selection of cheeses with mustards, giardiniera, Téte de Moine (an absolute must), puntarelle. Expensive and peculiar, but one of the few authentic spots still thriving. FD: Tête de Moine; Speck di Cortina Az. Salandro; Paninetti burro e acciughe; Uovo sodo ripieno di acciughe del Cantabrico.
