"8.5/10 Popular bakery on the NSW border with massive cabinet of pastries. Visited 19th December before checking out house in Tweed to meet potential roommate. Ordered Chai latte but didn’t try any pastries yet so score is still pending (danishes looked incredible and very reasonably priced) Visited 23rd January specifically to try the Australia day special lamingtons. Tried Ruby raspberry and mango lamingtons, as well as a loaf of sourdough. Drinks Chai latte: not great - watery and more tea than latte, though the addition of honey was an interesting touch Pastries Lamingtons: incredible. Literally everything I hoped they’d be. The sponge cake was light and fluffy, the cream was sweet without being overpowering and each flavour had a layer of jam/outer coating/surprise gel filling in the flavour. Both were delicious but the mango was an absolute stand out both because of the fresh mango and the delicious flavour of the mango gel. Sour dough: really crunchy outside and soft inside. Very good bread, would love to try some of the crazier flavours some time, next someone brought cheesecake to work and also tried nectarine Danish "
