"The least kid-friendly thing about Sailing Goat is the effort it requires to get there. Driving from Oakland, you’ll take the last exit before crossing the Richmond-San Rafael bridge, then continue winding around for 10 minutes wondering, are we there yet? At last, you’ll reach San Pablo Harbor and find this quirky, all-outdoor restaurant set on the water with live music on weekends. The food is well-executed — fish and chips, mac and cheese, a spiced seafood stew — but the setting is the main reason to make the trek. There are giant sculptures from Burning Man all around, just ready to be climbed on, and a goat farm next door."
