"Best place for some sparkling wine :) "

"Artesa Winery sits high on a hilltop overlooking the renowned appellation of Carneros in southern Napa Valley. Established in 1991 by the oldest winemaking family in Spain, Artesa focuses on producing small, ultra-premium lots of the varietals for which Carneros and the Napa Valley are best known â Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon â and aims to capture the essence of terroir through exceptional winemaking. WINEMAKING AT ARTESA The winery employs both traditional and modern techniques to create wines that experience minimal manipulation between harvest and bottling. THE ARTESA EXPERIENCE A visit to Artesa is nothing short of spectacular; design, art and nature combine to make the winery one of the most spectacular â and popular â destinations in wine country."

"cool architecture? rec'd by Drew. Seems large-scale, be prepared for crowds. Grounds/architecture supposed to be interesting. On a weekend, there are three tiers of tastings that happen in different parts of the winery. The Foyer ($25 for their own selection of 5 tastings towards the entrance), the salon ($35 for 5 tastings of your own choice of over 12 wines in a more spacious room) and the terrace ($45 for 5 tastings of their own reserve wine in their balcony and more secluded area). You can also just do a bottle service and pay for a bottle and enjoy the view outside.  Salon is recommended. OPEN DAILY 10 A.M. â 5 P.M. LAST POUR 4:30 P.M."
