The cathedral ceiling, old-school country music and boisterous locals give Farmstead a permanent buzz; for quieter dining, hit the front terrace.Dishes are laden with ranch-grown products utilized in outstanding preparations like a summery salad of heirloom tomatoes and creamy burrata with salsa verde. The bone-in heritage porkchop with apple chutney on a bed of creamy jalapeno grits and grilled broccolini is spot-on. Take the farm-fresh flavor with you—on weekends the restaurant's stands are brimming with produce, beef and honey for purchase. "

"Lovely farm - to - table on side of main road in St Helena. Gréât back patio fenced off from other guests by apple trees. Gréât service and atmosphere. Fresh kale and lemon to start, and Mexican style “melt in your mouth” corn. Local 7oz steak for main with frites. Rather ordinary. Paired well with a glass of rose and freshly squeezed lemonade. All in all, a special experience. 8.6/10"

"There are a few restaurants we would like to move all our possessions into and establish as a permanent residence. Farmstead is one of those places. Get a seat at their outdoor seating area for incrediblyy good local meats and vegetables. They also have a chocolate chip cookie more people should know about. We don’t go to Napa without a meal here."
