"La Esquina del Chilaquil is a beloved street food stall located at the corner of Alfonso Reyes and Tamaulipas in Mexico City’s Condesa neighborhood. Renowned for its indulgent tortas de chilaquiles, this spot has become a must-visit for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic taste of Mexican comfort food. The signature offering, often referred to as a “bomba,” features a crusty bolillo roll generously filled with layers of refried black beans, crispy chicken milanesa, or cochinita pibil, and a hearty serving of chilaquiles drenched in either red or green salsa. Topped with crema and crumbled cheese, this sandwich delivers a symphony of flavors and textures that satisfy even the most robust appetites."

"Most famous chilaquiles in the city"

"The most famous chilaquiles in the city come from this little street stall in Condesa. Get here early because the line snakes around the block and you’ll usually wait about 30 minutes, so make sure you don’t join the queue when you’re already hungry. It’s worth the wait, though. These chilaquiles come in a bread roll and topped with some of the most delicious meat and sauces that I’ve had anywhere on the street in Mexico. The milanesa is my personal go-to here. It’s a morning spot and they sell out fast, so rise early and fill your belly with this heavy breakfast before you head out exploring for the day."
